You cannot believe what we are living through. i have been reluctant to post because I am oddly embarrassed by it. We have a family of raccoons living in our home! Well, technically they are living under our home.

We had an adult raccoon living here in the fall and managed to get rid of him- a local exterminator told us to try puttin mothball in the crevice where it was living and see if it worked. Many sites said this was an old wives take and the only way to get it was to trap it or hire professional. The raccoon did leave- but who knows if it was the month balls. Our house really stunk for weeks afterwards.

Well- now we have a family of raccoons living here. Mom and I don;t know how many babies. It will cost a fortune to remove. I cannot stand the smell. They are living near a duct and I wear my basement smells like a hamster cage.

I hear them chattering most of the night. Drives me mental. I feel really bad for my kids when they bring kids over- house smell of mothballs as soon as you walk in the door- from 3 failed attempts. Then downstairs when all the video gaming stuff is it is just awful . I do have an air ionizer going full blast.
I will posy more on methods we have all ready tried and what i think will finally get rid of the raccoons living in the house.
