Homeschooling

Well- a neighbour told me last night that she has seen the mother raccoons and her babies out on the lawn the last few nights. I also learned it could be worse! The other neighbour ha a family of raccoons as well ( we live backing on to a ravine) living in there attic. WOW- I would flip out if I heard them scurrying around at night while i tired to sleep. bad enough I can hear them while at computer- but above my bed. No thanks! He also has major problem because they keep damaging his roof- ripping off shingles and now he has numerous leaks. So i will be quasi-grateful for the family that technically still live outside and under house not in it!

I have been looking for a live trap to capture raccoons but can only find a trap for squirrels and chipmunks- not a big one. Apparently Canadian Tire has them but I yet to track one down.

I would love to rent or borrow if possible- will keep looking.

On another nature note- a bird family building nest on our deck. Think it might be a robin. Will know in a few days.
