Homeschooling

My mom as in town today for funeral. Every time she comes I remember how much I loved my own grandmother and how I knew without a single doubt that she loved me more than anything in the world. I wish every kids could feel that.

My mom blasts in the door with cookies and chocolate and toys and spider-man soap- all the stuff my kids ask for and I find a reason not to buy
She lets my kids order the 16 ox new york strip for 299.95 at the restaurant and not the kids menu ( gulp) something my grandmother did. I remember when i was 10 I would always order the surf and turf and she was delighted to watch me eat it.
In some way watching my mom with my kids makes me love her even more.
